Tree house

I'm working on a new project, the Market Cross.
I was so delighted when I bought the kit...
Dolls House Emporium didn't make these kits anymore
and I bought one of the last ones!
But when I opened it at home I was very dissapointed!!!
This couldn't be a 1:12 dollshouse!!!
It was far too small and they forgot to make the window holes :-(

It dissapeared into the box again and stood on my workroom for months!
In the meantime  I kept buying little dragons for my Dragontower,
but it was filling up with those lovely creatures made by Nicky!
So I needed something to put more dragons in LOL

Out came the box and after a lot of grumbling and thinking
I decided I would turn it into a 1:24 witchesroom.
Some of the dragons are small enough for half scale,
so they can move into the new project!

And with a new half scale project I could ask
my little friend E-beertje if he wanted to help me,
that way I could write stories about him again!!!

So we started building!
On my little friend E-beertje's blog
we tell you all about the building of the Market Cross.

Some pictures of the building proces...

Half scale witch

For my new project, the Market Cross,
it seemed handy to make a little doll
so I could check the scale!
Because...
(Sssssssh, don't tell him. He might get traumatized )
E-beertje is actually a bit too small and too fat for half scale
This doll didn't have to be too complicated..
just a few pipe cleaners and a bead as a head would be sufficient!
But then I found a half scale head in my dollcomponentsbox,
I made it a few years ago with a mold made by Ria Odijk.
That was even better than a bead!!!!
So I made a little body...put the head on.....
hey...there's some grey hair in there as well....
hmmm, those unpainted eyes look a bit scary.....
let's take out the paint...
And all of a sudden....
there she was.....

And I really liked her...
so out came the polymer clay...
hands and shoes were made ......
rummaging through my fabric stash....
with a lot of swears and grumbling
a dress was made and voilà.....
one little miniature witch....
She's 7 cm tall...
her hair is wild on purpose....
she will get a new wand...
and she needs a hat!!!
But I think she's really cool
Now all I have to do
is introduce her to E-beertje

Flowers and more....

I made a flower kit I last bought from my friend Hanny.
Love her kits, they aren't too difficult and not very expensive either

And the result.....

And yesterday another parcel arrived
Aren't they cute????
I'm as addicted to gremlins as I am to dragons

And E-beertje has another little friend!
The other items were a gift from Nicky!
