Lantaarntje, typemachine, cadeautje

Ik kreeg dit lampje van Martha en heb er dit mee gedaan.....

Martha gave me this lamp and I did this to it..... 

Tijdens een clubochtend heb ik nog 2 typemachines gemaakt.

During a meeting with our dollhouseclub, I made 2 more type writers.

Van Reina kreeg ik een klein scarabeetje en een fossiel schelpje!
Martha gaf me ook nog de buste van Toetanchamon.

Reina gave me a little scarabee and a fossil shell!
Martha also gave me the bust of Toetanchamon.

M-huis - sprei/bedspread

De sprei voor Mairead is af.

Ze is er heel erg blij mee!

The bedspread for Mairead is finished.

She's very happy with it!

En ik heb nog een typemachine gemaakt,

nu in 1:24!

And I made another typewriter,

now in half scale!

Beauty and the Beast roos

Gisteren ben ik naar de film Beauty and the Beast geweest

en dat heeft me geïnspireerd om vandaag de roos uit het verhaal na te maken!

Yesterday I went to see the movie Beauty and the Beast

and it inspired me to make the rose from the movie!

M-huis - Platenspeler en IKEA kastje

Oh kijk nou wat een leuk cadeautje Oscar voor Mairead heeft meegenomen!

En hij wordt uitbundig bedankt 😄

Pfff, ik heb hem eigenlijk nodig voor wat klusjes,

maar ik geloof niet dat zijn hoofd daar naar staat op het moment!

Hoe fijn het knuffelen met Oscar ook was,

na een tijdje ging Mairead toch maar even wat anders doen 😉

Ze had nog een pakketje van IKEA liggen voor een ladenkastje,

dus dat heeft ze in elkaar gezet.

En nu staat het te pronken op haar hobbykamer!

Despite how much she enjoyed snuggling with Oscar,
aftyer a while Mairead wanted to do something else ;-)
She had a kit of IKEA for a chestof drawers she wanted to assemble.
She placed it in her studio.

Dromenvanger/spinnenwiel

Vandaag tijdens onze clubochtend een dromenvanger (Nalladris)

en een 1:48 spinnewiel en kruk (Petite Properties) gemaakt.

Made a dreamcatcher and a 1:48 spinning wheel and stool.

Tentoonstelling Miniaturengalerie Oudehorne

Vandaag ben ik samen met mijn moeder en Melissa naar een

poppenhuis-tentoonstelling toe geweest in het oude kerkje (1715) van Jubbega-Shurega.

I've been to an dollshouse exhibition in an old church (1715) in Jubbega-Schurega

with my mother and Melissa.

Deze tentoonstelling wordt georganiseerd van 2 t/m 10 mei 2015

door Hanneke Hofstra van de Miniaturengalerie in Oudehorne.

The exhibition is organised by Hanneke Hofstra of the Miniaturengalerie

in Oudehorne and takes place from 2 May until 10 May 2015.

Er staan veel leuke winkeltjes, kijkkastjes en tafereeltjes.

There are many wonderful little shops and rooms to see.

Na de tentoonstelling zijn we ook nog even naar de Miniaturengalerie (poppenhuiswinkel) geweest.

After the exhibition we went to the Miniaturengalerie (dollshouse shop).

En daar kwam ik een heel schattig vriendje voor E-beertje tegen,

dus die is met me mee naar huis gekomen ;-)

I met a sweet little friend for E-beertje there

and he came home with me ;-)

Hij is nog een beetje bang,

maar dat komt wel goed met E-beertje in de buurt!

He's a little bit afraid,

but that will change soon with E-beertje around!

Little mouse/Muisje

I'm not sure if she's going to live in one of my dollshouses,

but she's small, so I can show her here ;-)

My little mouse is 6,5 cm tall.

 

Ik weet niet zeker of ze in 1 van mijn poppenhuizen komt te wonen,

maar ze is klein, dus ik kan haar hier wel laten zien ;-)

Mijn muisje is 6,5 cm groot.

Vliegenkast/Cabinet

Vandaag is de poppenhuisclub weer bij mij thuis geweest.

Ik had een workshop voorbereid van een vliegenkastje,

de beschrijving stond in P&M 119.

Omdat het nog kerstvakantie is kon Jasmijn deze keer ook meedoen :-)

Today, our dolls house club met again at my house.

I prepared a workshop of a little cabinet,

the pattern was in P&M 119 (a dutch magazine).

And because it is still vacation,

my daughter Jasmijn could join us this time too :-)

Ik had mijn kastje nog niet af omdat ik ook uit moest leggen hoe het moest,

dus ik heb het later afgemaakt.

En Jasmijn heeft op haar kastje nog roze hartjes geschilderd!

I hadn't finished my second cabinet because I had to explain

to the others how to make it, so I finished it later.

My daughter Jasmijn added some pink hearts to her cabinet!

Document box

Almost 2 weeks ago I did a workshop woodcarving,

given by Ann High.

 

It was a wonderful workshop

and I learned a lot!!

I never did any woodcarving before,

so I'm very proud of what I've achieved!!!

 

I only finished 2 sides of the box

at the workshop,

but today I finished the box!

 

 

 

My little friend E-beertje was with me,

but he wasn't allowed to touch

those sharp instruments!!!

 

 

The workshop was held at the home of Annelies de Kort

and she and her husband really spoiled us

both days with delicious soup and pastries.

 

And this is my document box!!!!

Embroidery

I finished some embroidery projects...

The last one I made is the one in the left bottom corner.

It is the smallest I ever embroidered.

But I'm very pleased with the result!

 

My dear friend Nella who has knitted

so many beautiful little dolls and critters

has to stop knitting
because her hands hurt too much

She's selling her last creations at the moment

and I treated myself for the last time

with some sweet little dolls.

Aren't they cute???

 

I started a new project

but my little friend E-beertje

will tell you more about that later
