E-beertje's huis/house

E-bertje's huis is klaar!!!! Wauw, ik heb iets afgemaakt hahaha
E-beertje's house is finished!!! Wow, I finished something hahaha

Het staat op een ereplekje naast mijn computerhoekje,
zodat ik er heel vaak van kan genieten!

It stands on a special spot next to my computer-corner,
so I can enjoy it very often!

Street stones

It is not all bad to be lying sick on the couch for a while....
While I was on the couch watching television,
I got my pile of egg cartons and cut hundreds of tiles
for the pavement of my tudor house
When I was feeling a little better
I glued them all in place!!!
Then I had to fill the holes between the tiles....
that was a lot of work
And after a lot of paint.......

It is finished!!!!!

well....I still want to add some weeds and moss

Dolls house fair Arnhem

This weekend I've been to the dolls house fair in Arnhem!
On friday and saturday I helped my friend Melissa
and on sunday I visited the fair with my friend Hanny!

And I have made some wonderful purchases....
My favorite one being the market Cross!!!!

Close up....

Petite Properties was in Arnhem too....
I wish I could have bought a kit of every house they sold there
But I did buy 2 of them...
The Washtub Cottage 1:144

And the 1:48 Cottage Stores!
I hope mine will be as nice as these 2
(photos of the painted houses by Petite Properties)

My other purchases...

This beautiful kit was sold out,
but they will send it to me by mail

I've met some wonderful new and old friends on the fair...
and I received some nice gifts!
A bottle for glue from Andrea,
a casket with dragon eggs from Marieke
and a lovely 1:48 streetlantern from Melissa.....
but I've forgotten where it is
E-beertje received a lovely notice board from Philip!!!

It was a wonderful weekend!!!

The pillory is finished

Yesterday I finished the pillory!
I've added a lock and a hinge
and some metal thingies so the upper board won't fall off
On the left is a little troll...
I hope she will behave a little better now she knows
what can happen to her if she's naughty

The cart is finished too...
It only needs reins,
so the donkey can pull the cart!

The tables are ready too!
The photo's aren't very good...
the light is terrible at the moment!

Most of the animals still have to be put in cages (again),
but for now the immobility spells will do!

The tudor house downstairs

I brought my tudor house downstairs!
Most of the work on this house was done upstairs in my hobby room,
but it was time my favorite house came downstairs!

Still lots to do do, but that's the fun of this hobby :-)

The roof of the Tudor House

Working hard on the roof of the Tudor House!

I was a bit worried I wouldn't have enough shingles!
But I'll probably have about 50 spare ;-)

Tudor house

In March 2008 I started building a tudorhouse.
I'm not always working on it (too many other fun projects LOL),
but it is still one of my favorite projects!
It isn't finished yet, but I'm really proud of this house!!!

I just started glueing the singels on the roof!
Another step to completion!

The house is going to be the residence of a wizard family.
I just love making (and buying ;-)) magical miniatures!

Christmas trees

December the 11th I went to the Kladblogdag,
a meeting of a group of miniaturists who meet eachother mostly online on the Kladblog.
On that day we received many nice presents and we did 2 workshops!
Hanny gave a workshop on making lavender..soooo beautiful!!!

And Jolande gave us a workshop for making a wonderful little Christmastree of fabric

I didn't make one that day,
but at home I became very enthousiastic and made three!!!

The one on the right was a surprise present from Sylvia.
I'm working on another tree....a green one!
They are addictive ;-)

I bought the little knitted dolls from Nella!

A white Christmas room

I started this week with a Christmas room.
The main color will be white!!
I already have a christmas room with the traditional colores red and green and a christmas shop and a market stall with lots of colors, so I thought it would be nice to try something different!
The white basket is the only thing so far made by me, but there will be more selfmade miniatures soon!!!
